Our two featured speakers were Sol J. Barer and Ron Cooper. Dr. Barer is an acclaimed biopharmaceutical industry business leader and entrepreneur. He was Founder and former Chairman & CEO of CELGENE and is the current Chairman of the Board of TEVA. The topic of his speech was “Biopharmaceutical Industry: A Personal Perspective.”
Ron Cooper is the President and CEO of Albireo Pharma, Inc. Ron has over 25 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry and previously held various leadership roles at BMS. His talk was titled “From Big Pharma to Biotech.”
