Alok Sonig is President, Pharmaceuticals at Baxter International and is responsible for their worldwide Pharmaceutical business. In addition, he also leads their global Bio Pharmaceutical Solutions business.
Alok (pronounced: Ah-Loke) has more than 25 years of experience in the life sciences industry. Most recently, he served as the U.S. CEO and Global Head of R&D and Biosimilars at Lupin, Inc. Prior to this role, he was CEO of Developed Markets (U.S., Canada, Europe and Japan) at Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories, and spent nearly 15 years at Bristol Myers Squibb, where he held several positions of increasing responsibility in General Management, Global Strategy, and Marketing.
Alok holds a Bachelor’s of Engineering from Punjab Engineering College in India and a Master’s of Business Administration from American University in Washington, D.C.
