The South Asian Pharmaceutical Council (SAPC) is delighted to welcome you to our first Speaker Event of 2023.

Our featured speaker is Dr. Sol J. Barer, an acclaimed biopharmaceutical industry business leader and entrepreneur. Dr. Barer was founder and former Chairman & CEO of CELGENE and is the current Chairman of the Board, TEVA. The topic of Dr. Barer’s speech is, “Biopharmaceutical Industry: A Personal Perspective.”

He will be joined by Ron Cooper, President and CEO, Albireo Pharma Inc. Mr Cooper has over 25 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, and previously held various leadership roles at BMS. His talk is titled “From Big Pharma to Biotech.”
